One of the best parts about playing video games is having the chance to explore new worlds. Carto has taken exploration and turned it into a puzzle mechanic. In order to make your way across the world — and find your way home — you’ll have to rearrange tiles and build a path yourself.
Everything about Carto is charming, from the lovely hand-drawn visuals to the relaxing music. Even the gameplay seems like a great way to chill. The characters appear to be adorable, and based on the trailer, it looks as though the game may feature a hug button.
If you’re in the mood to explore, check out Carto when it releases on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 27th, 2020.
