Some games take an “it will come when it comes” approach to seasonal content (Red Dead Online being perhaps one of the biggest offenders). Not Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. No, Fall Guys is still a month away from the end of their Season 1 and they’ve already started showing off what we can expect from Season 2.
Season 2 of Fall Guys has a Medieval theme to it, with knights and wizards and dragons dominating the game’s new fashion choices. Additionally, there will be new game modes, and a lot of them seem to include moving ramps, which is something we haven’t seen in Fall Guys before. It looks like these are maybe going to force a little bit of teamwork, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out. Will people work cooperatively, or will the scene be dominated by “grabbers” and trolls? We’ll see!
It already feels like there’s an overwhelming amount of seasonal content live in video games right now, and Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout‘s second season is certainly not easing that burden.
Season 1 ends October 5, 2020, and we’re not sure of the exact date Season 2 will begin (though we’ve heard October being thrown around). Since we’re already seeing promotion for the second season, we’re going to assume it won’t be long after the first season ends.
