The Secret Tape in San Francisco in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is a little bit sneaky. To get it, you’ll have to make your way up to the top of the building that has a crane on top of it, then ride the ramp off the edge. From there, you should pretty much hit the tape without even trying — riding the ramp should set you up to hit it.
I actually find the Secret Tape to be way easier than collecting SKATE in San Francisco.
So how do you get up to this particular spot? It’s a bit tricky to explain, so it’s probably best if I just post a video. (Note that I deliberately made my way up the ramps slowly so the video would be easier to follow.)
One last thing you should know: Making the big leap up onto the first balcony is so much easier if you max out your skater’s Ollie stats. If you’re not sure how to upgrade your stats, fret not, I made a simple guide.
Now, here’s the video of how to get the Secret Tape in San Francisco in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2.
