Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Just like the previous game, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales has a mid-credits scene and a post-credits scene. If you want to check those out without completing the game, or if you’ve completed the game already and somehow missed these (or even just want to refresh your memory), I’ve recorded them.

Obviously, these are going to contain spoilers for anyone who hasn’t finished the game, but one of these also contains spoilers for the first game. If you don’t want to have any story moments ruined for you, turn back now while you still have the chance.

Otherwise, here we go!

The mid-credits scene is the real showstopper. This one builds on the previous game’s post-credits scene, so you might want to refresh your memory on that one before you watch this.

This is very clearly setting up another Spider-Man game, in which Harry Osborne will be a major villain — perhaps the main villain. Most likely, he’s becoming the Green Goblin (Harry was one of the Green Goblins in the comics, and to really drive this home visually, there’s an abundance of green in his scenes so far). One other thing to consider is that in the Ultimate universe, Harry actually becomes Venom. While the games do pull from the Ultimate universe (Ultimate was where Miles’s storey began, after all), it seems much more likely that we’re getting Green Goblin teases rather than Venom teases.

Of course, it would be cool to see Venom in Insomniac’s Spider-Verse at some point (even though Miles’s bio-electric powers are referred to as Venom Powers, which is maybe a little confusing).

Anyway, here’s the mid-credits scene from Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Buckle up, folks, it’s a ride.

The post-credits scene doesn’t have any big reveals, but it does give us little bit of emotional closure for the game’s big ending. It’s nice to see. Here’s the post-credits scene:

In this scene, Miles will be wearing whichever outfit you had him in at the end of the game. I’m a big fan of the Winter Suit, so that’s what he’s wearing here.

And there you go. I’m definitely looking forward to whatever’s next for Insomniac’s Spider-Verse!
