Minecraft Star Wars

Minecraft is the gaming gift that refuses to stop giving. While there are other games I’ve invested hundreds of hours into, very few games have consumed as much of my life as Minecraft. The thing is, it’s almost always worth going back to if you’ve been away from it for a while. This is a game that’s brought a whole lot of joy into my life.

Of course, there’s also the fact that Minecraft keeps growing and changing and adding new things, which makes it feel perpetually interesting.

The latest new thing for Minecraft is the Star Wars DLC, which is essentially a fully realized mod that turns Minecraft into a Star Wars game.

I was admittedly skeptical at first, but the trailer won me over.

I honestly love the idea of turning deserts into Tatooine, and adding Ewok-filled villages to the forest biome. Plus, there are a ton of pre-built items, which means you don’t have to build your own Star Wars set-pieces from scratch. After seeing all of this, I find myself with that Minecraft itch once more.

This DLC costs 1,340 Minecoins in the Minecraft Marketplace, and it’s available right now.

Let’s just hope this goes over better than the Journey to Batuu Game Pack for The Sims 4. That was kind of a nightmare.
