A while back, I stumbled upon rumors of a Cyberpunk 2077 and Adidas crossover. I was skeptical as to whether they were real or not, especially considering the rather, um… garish design. As it turns out, that Instagram scoop seems legit, as Hypebeast has given us a look at the full spectrum of Cyberpunk 2077 designs available for the Adidas X9000L4 and X90004D.
Some of these designs are more palatable than others, though to be honest, I can’t imagine a scenario in which I would actually wear any one of these. That said, if you are a diehard fan of both Cyberpunk 2077 and loud running shoes, these might just be up your alley.
There’s no word yet on when these shoes will be available or what the asking price will be. Adidas doesn’t seem to have any details or even mention of these kicks on their website. Some speculation points to a November release to coincide with the original release date for Cyberpunk 2077 (before it got delayed three weeks to December 10, 2020).
Let’s just hope sneaker fans are a little more civil and less vitriolic than some of those in the gaming community, in case these sneakers end up getting delayed as well.
