Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes isn’t an enormous game, but it’s certainly a rich one. Plus, there’s a pretty huge pile of weapons to collect across its grimdark world. If you want to find every single one, don’t fret. I’ve created this handy guide.

Read on to find the location of every weapon in Morbid: The Seven Acolytes. I’ve sorted all of these in the order they appear in the game’s Morbid Menagerie.

One thing to know: the firearms aren’t individually listed in the Morbid Menagerie; only the three categories (rifles, shotguns, and crossbows) are listed. If you’re trying to complete your Morbid Menagerie, you only have to find one firearm from each category (though I have a feeling this might get patched later on).

Before you go on your weapons completionist run, I do have to warn you about something. Weapons that you leave on the ground will despawn once you meditate at a shrine. This means if you left something behind due to inventory space concerns, then you rest at a shrine, that item will disappear. If this is a unique item, you will have missed your chance at acquiring it. Keep that in mind as you manage your inventory space.

Of course, also know that you can find duplicates of most of the weapons in Necropolis (which is close to the end of the game).

Anyway, let’s go find every single weapon in Morbid: The Seven Acolytes!

Swords

Sword of Dibrom

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

The Sword of Dibrom is your very first weapon, and it can be found on a corpse at the very beginning of the game. You really can’t miss it (unless you ignore the glowy sparks around the corpse next to where you spawn in, I suppose).

Note: You can also get multiple copies of the Sword of Dibrom from a chest next to the second Shrine in the Caverns of Solitude. You can also find another one in Necropolis.

Great Sword of Dibrom

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

The Great Sword of Dibrom is acquirable very early in Morbid, which makes it, in my opinion, the first good weapon in the game. You’ll find it in the Cursed Hamlet, on a corpse behind some crates near Boatswain Borga.

Here’s a video that shows the exact location:

There’s another location where you can acquire the Great Sword of Dibrom: in the Village of Aer’Abuh, just to the left of where you find the Skull Splitter (see the Skull Splitter video for the exact location).

There’s yet another location: just outside of the room where you’ll fight Lady Tristan, Mother Grief you’ll find some corpses. The corpse to the left of the door is holding a Great Sword of Dibrom.

If you still haven’t found one when you reach Necropolis, there’s another one on a corpse to the left of the second Necropolis shrine.

Grim Reaver

The Grim Reaver is in Tomb of the King, in a narrow area off to the left of the room where you fight King Cornelius, the Heir of Regret. Here’s a video of the exact location:

I should point out that this is actually a great weapon for this boss fight.

The Butcher’s Grib

This one can be found in Grimwald’s Grove. Here’s a video of the exact location:

Another one can be found in a chest in Necropolis, to the left of the Halberd of Mornia and the Petrifier. Watch the Necropolis Petrifier video (under maces) to see where the Petrifier is. The Halberd of Mornia is to the left of the Petrifier, and the Butcher’s Grib is to the left of the Halberd of Mornia.

Fortuna

The Fortuna sword is just north of the fourth shrine in Grimwald’s Grove (the shrine near a prison tower, the closest shrine to the Tomb of the King exit). Just walk north and follow the dock. You’ll find the Translation Stone (for The Language Barrier quest), and just beyond that is the corpse of a warrior king. The corpse is holding the Fortuna sword.

Here’s a video of the exact location:

There’s another location in Necropolis. Check out the Necropolis video for the Axx (under Axes in this guide) if you want to see the exact location.

Frothing Blades of Rage

After you defeat Fat Conrad in Fellfields, take the exit to the north. This winds to the east and then southward. Follow that south past the crossroad, and then follow the long bridge that bends to the east. You should find a corpse leaning up against a pair of capsules that contain green fluid. This corpse is holding the Frothing Blades of Rage.

Here’s an image of the exact corpse you’re looking for:

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

Note that you can only collect this once. However, there’s a second one in Necropolis, just south of where you find the Snake Fang.

Lorn’s Shamshir

This sword is awarded for beating Lorn the Blind, Lord of Loneliness (the first Acolyte).

You can get a second one in a chest in Necropolis, to the northeast of where you find the Holy Dichotomer (it’s right next to the chest where you’ll find the Organ).

Sane’s Bane

Sane’s Bane can be found in an alley in the City of Yortael, shortly after the market shrine. Here’s a video showing the exact location:

There’s another location in Necropolis. Check out the Necropolis video for the Axx (under Axes in this guide) if you want to see the exact location.

Skull Splitter

In the Village of Aer’Abuh, there’s a farmhouse with a bunch of crates in front of it, as well as a blessing statue and some chests. In one chest you’ll find the Skull Splitter. In the other, you’ll find another Great Sword of Dibrom.

As a bonus, you can find the Trusty Blaster if you smash open the crates.

Here’s a video of how to acquire all three weapons (starting at the village entrance from the Gardens of Mornia).

Snake Fang

The Snake Fang can be found in a chest that’s hiding in a patch of grass in Necropolis. Here’s a video of the exact location:

Note that this is just to the left of where you find the Petrifier in Necropolis. If you’re not sure where this exact location, check out the Petrifier video later in this guide (under maces).

Note that there’s another Snake Fang in Felfields, but I haven’t been able to get a video of the exact location yet.

Sword of Eura

You’ll find the Sword of Eura in an alleyway in the City of Yortael. Note that you’ll need to have defeated Vulgus Calia, the Mass of Terror for this to be accessible. (You can bring down the Feeler Gate near the entrance to the Concert Hall to have quick access to the same shrine you rested at before the Vulgus Calia fight.)

Here’s a video of the exact location:

There’s another location in Necropolis. Check out the Necropolis video for the Axx if you want to see the exact location.

Axes

The Axx

After you defeat Vulgus Calia, the Mass of Terror, exit the room from the northwest exit. Follow this path and you’ll find a corpse sitting behind a Feeler Gate. To disable the gate, just walk as far as you can to the right, then walk south to find the heart. Kill it and the Feeler Gate will die.

When you return to the corpse, you’ll find it holding the Axx.

There’s another one in Necropolis, near a whole bunch of other weapons. Here’s a video of the exact location:

You’ll also find Sane’s Bane, Fortuna, and the Sword of Eura in this same area.

Storm Cleaver

After you defeat Maestro Bibé, the Anxious Prodigy, in the Concert Hall, you’ll find the Storm Cleaver just off to the left.

There’s another one in Necropolis, just to the north of where you find the Axx.

The Holy Dichotomer

You can find this one in Necropolis. Just hang to the left-hand side of the map and you should find it. Need help? That’s alright, I made a video!

Spears

Soylan Trident

You’ll find the Soylan Trident in a crate on the docks in the Cursed Hamlet, right next to a corpse that’s holding the Greater Rune of Rage. Here’s a video that shows the exact location:

There’s another Soylan Trident in the Village of Aer’Abuh, just before the exit to the Gardens of Mornia. It’s in a box at the western edge of the map, guarded by an elite Ravenous Crow. Burst open the box and claim your weapon.

Irean Battle Spear

This one’s in Fellfields, but the exact location is pretty tricky to describe. Thankfully, I was able to get a video of it.

Be careful. There’s no shortage of tough enemies on the path to the Irean Battle Spear!

I should point out that there actually is a shrine closer to this location (at 0:38 in the video above, if I would have gone east instead of north, I would have reached it pretty quickly).

Halberd of Mornia

In the Gardens of Mornia, as you’re climbing the stairs toward the room where you’ll fight Lady Tristana, Mother Grief, you’ll encounter an elite Guard of Mornia. Take him down and he should drop the Halberd of Mornia.

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

When you meditate at a shrine, this guard resawns, and it will drop the halberd again.

There’s another Halberd of Mornia in a chest near the Petrifier in Necropolis. Check out the Necropolis video in the Petrifier section (under Maces) to see the exact location.

Maces

The Organ

After you defeat Lady Tristana, Mother Grief, walk north out of the room to a shrine. From that shrine, simply follow the hall to the right as far as you can go. Then walk south and you’ll find a chest that has the Organ inside.

If you meditate at the shrine, the chest will respawn, so you can actually collect this multiple times.

You can also find another one in Necropolis, just to the northeast of where you find the Holy Dichotomer.

The Petrifier

After you kill Yaga Moer in Grimwald’s Grove, a path opens up to the north of the cauldron area. This is where you’ll find the Petrifier. Here’s a video of exactly where that is:

Note: You can pick up the Petrifier multiple times, because it respawns whenever you meditate at a shrine.

Additionally, there’s another Petrifier in a chest in Necropolis. Here’s the exact location:

You’ll also find a Halberd of Mornia in a nearby chest, and a Short-Barrelled Pounder on the Grave Slave just before this location (both are shown in the video).

Sun of Soyla

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

Due south of the first Shrine, you’ll find the Longing Widow, who asks you to find out what happened to Larsh Borga in the Cursed Hamlet, which starts the quest The Longing Widow.

Travel west to reach the Cursed Hamlet. In the Northwest corner of the Cursed Hamlet, you’ll find Boatswain Borga. Kill him and he’ll drop Borga’s Logbook. Return the logbook to the Longing Widow to complete the quest. As a reward, she’ll give you the Sun of Soyla.

Bone Breaker

The Bone Breaker is in the City of Yortael. Simply start from this shrine:

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

Then walk northeast until you find this Charles Wysocki-looking furnace:

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

The corpse in front of the furnace has the Bone Breaker.

Vicar’s Virge

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

Near the center of the Village of Aer’Abuh, you’ll find a glowy box. Smash it open to claim the Vicar’s Virge.

The Blader

You’ll find this as part of the This Seems… Familiar Achievement, which I’ve written a full guide for. Check that out if you need help finding the Blader.

Fist-Weapons

Face Breakers

These can be found in the Village of Aer’Abuh. First, you’ll have to disable the Feeler Gate on the farm. Here’s a video of how to do that:

Once that’s complete, you can go nab your Face Breakers (as well as a Grand Rune of Anxiety). Here’s a video of where you can find them:

There’s another set on a corpse to the right of the second shrine in Necropolis.

Acid Syringers

The Acid Syringers can be found in a chest in the fetid swamps of Felfields. Here’s a video showing the exact location:

Note that you can collect these multiple times, because the chest respawns when you meditate at a shrine.

Beast Claws

The Undead Mammoth Beast in Grimwald’s Grove will drop these once you kill it.

Mecha-Gloves

In the labyrinth of steel pipes in the City of Yortael, just before you fight Vulgus Calia, the Mass of Terror, you’ll find a corpse that’s holding the Mecha-Gloves. Really, you can’t miss this one.

Firearms

Sentinel’s Sidearm

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

Off to the right of the Lighthouse Shrine in the Cursed Hamlet, there is a corpse next to the stairs leading upward. Loot the corpse to get the Sentinel’s Sidearm.

The Short-Barreled Pounder

Shortly after defeating Lorn the Blind, Lord of Loneliness, you’ll encounter your first Corpse King. Defeat this monstrosity to acquire the Short-Barreled Pounder.

One of the Grave Slaves in Necropolis dropa this weapon as well. Check out the Necropolis video in the Petrifier section (under Maces) if you want to see exactly where that is.

Krombi’s Musket

As you’re leaving the Village of Aer’Abuh toward Grimwald’s Grove, you’ll run into Rufas, who asks you to kill Yaga Moer. Once you bring down Yaga Moer, return to Rufas, who will give you Krombi’s Musket as a reward for having competed the quest.

You can also find Krombi’s Musket in an alley in the City of Yortael. Here’s a video that shows the exact location:

The Long Ranger

When you first enter the Village of Aer’Abuh, you’ll see a man (Burlow’s Son) who asks you for the head of Fat Conrad. Fat Conrad is in the Felfields, way out by where you fight Bile Toad Putrus, the Spawn of Disgust. Once you beat Fat Conrad, bring his head back to Burlow’s Son to claim your rewards, which include the Long Ranger.

The Trusty Blaster

In the Village of Aer’Abuh, just before you reach the chest where you find the Skull Splitter, there is a pile of crates and barrels. Smash those to reveal the Trusty Blaster.

For a video that shows the exact location, check out the Skull Splitter section of this guide.

You can also find several of these in Necropolis.

The Lacerator

As you’re making your way up the stairs to the Cathedral of Wrath (close to the last shrine in Necropolis), there will be a Carcass King standing in your way. When you kill it, it will drop the Lacerator.

The Bow of Ire

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

Just south of the Lighthouse Shrine in the Cursed Hamlet, you’ll meet Seadog Marlin, a fisherman who complains he hasn’t been able to catch anything. He’ll kick off the quest The Old Fish Man and the Sea. The reward for completing this quest is The Bow of Ire.

I’ve created a full guide to this quest, so consult that if you’re not sure what to do here.

The Double Crescent

This one is on a corpse in Grimwald’s Grove, just north of the shrine that’s closest to the Undead Mammoth Beast.

The Irean Impaler

The Irean Impaler is in the City of Yortael, to the West of the Concert Hall. Here’s a video that shows the exact location:

As a bonus, if you keep watching, you’ll see where you can also find a Stone of Dibrom upgrade.
