Fishing is a hobby I’ve always avoided. I’m terrified of worms, I’m not a big fan of boats, and I hate the idea of hurting any animals. Video game fishing, however, is something I can’t get enough of. If a game gives me a pole, I’ll probably spend at least a few hours reeling fish in. I even got the fishing ending in Nier: Automata.

Luna’s Fishing Garden looks like the perfect way to chill out and indulge my passion for virtual fishing. The game has no time limits, very few constraints, and no real stresses. All you need to is build a garden, ride in a boat, and catch lots of fish.

Luna’s Fishing Garden looks like it has a fishing system that’s similar to the one in Stardew Valley. There are more than 20 types of fish to catch, each with its own unique behaviors. In addition to hunting for fish, you can plant trees, decorate your island, and attract animals to your garden.

I’m always on the lookout for cozy new games to chill out with, especially when these titles let me pretend to fish. If you’re also a fan of virtual fishing, watch out for Luna’s Fishing Garden when it hits Steam on March 2nd, 2021.
