They’ve done it again! Thanks to the folks at Limited Run Games, we’ll be seeing a physical edition of Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate (whew, that’s a mouthful) on Nintendo Switch.
If you’re not familiar with it, Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate is the fifth mainline game in the Shiren the Wanderer series, which itself is part of the much broader Mystery Dungeon series. This is a roguelike dungeon crawler disguised as a 16-bit JRPG. That’s quite a lovely premise.
There’s a standard edition, which includes a physical game cartridge and a standard Switch game box. This version will run you $34.99.
However, if you really want to indulge, there’s also a collector’s edition, which costs $74.99. It includes everything in the standard edition, plus the following:
- Art book
- Mamel stress ball
- Miracle dice
- 3 art prints
- Beautiful outer box
You’ll want to act fast, though. Preorders opened today, and they close on February 15. That means you have just over a month to reserve your copy.
