Whether we’re trying to break curses or starting our own cults, we’re always looking for new ways to play The Sims 4. Although we’ve been enjoying the new world and features introduced in the Snowy Escape expansion, we’ve really been itching for new content, which is why we were thrilled by the announcement of The Sims 4: Paranormal Stuff Pack.

As the name suggests, this pack is filled to the brim with spooky new content. It introduces a new haunted house lot type, as well as a paranormal investigator career. Thanks to the new séance table item, you can also conduct seances and chat with Sims that have passed on. If you watch the trailer closely, you’ll also spot Bonehilda, a skeletal maid that first appeared in The Sims: Making Magic.

If you remember the Community Voted Stuff Pack poll of November 2019, this pack might look familiar to you. This appears to be a renamed version of the Happy Haunts pack that appeared in the poll. While Happy Haunts finished behind Arts and Crafts (which went on to become Nifty Knitting Stuff), it was a close second. The poll also mentioned a few features that aren’t in showcased in the trailer, like a Grim Reaper freelance career.

Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long to see if we’ll be able to reap souls in the new stuff pack. It’s set to release on January 26, 2021. We’re excited to see the new CAS, build some haunted houses, and have spooky old time. You can catch a glimpse in the trailer below:
