Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town Best Gifts Guide

Socializing is a big part of Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, so you’ll want to mingle as much as you can. However, if you really want to win over someone, you’ll want to give them their favorite gift.

Note that every villager has preferences about what they like, so every item is ranked in a hierarchy that’s individual to each character. There are four categories of gifts, which I’ll refer to as Favorite, Loved, Liked, and Neutral. (Note that some guides refer to these as Loved, Liked, Slight Liked, and Normal.) There are no dislikes, as every villager will at least be happy to get a gift, even if they don’t care for the item.

You can tell which category an item falls into based on the character’s response to receiving any gift. Sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference between a Liked and a Loved reaction, but Loved will usually be accompanied by a little dance. You’re also more likely to see exclamation points in Loved reactions than in Liked reactions (though this is certainly not always the case).

I ran extensive experiments to figure all this out, and I’ve compiled a list of gifts to help you make friends and woo your crush. I’ve even logged neutral gifts to give you a head start in case you want to run your own experiments.
