If you’re a fan of farming sims (and really, aren’t we all?) and you own a Nintendo Switch, you might be happy to know that yet another option has been added to the Switch’s ever-expanding game library. Deiland: Pocket Planet Edition is now out on Nintendo Switch.
This is actually an expanded version of the game Deiland, which is available on PS4 and Steam, and it features characters from Summer in Mara (as it’s set in the same universe). I pointed out a while back that this has elements of The Little Prince to it, and my fellow Half-Glasser Dave (who’s been playing the game for about a week now) said, “If Stardew Valley and Story of Seasons are all about calming gameplay, then Deiland is about as therapeutic and meditative as this genre can get.”
