Resident Evil Village is a homage to both its predecessor, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, and one of the franchise’s best entries, Resident Evil 4. The game combines satisfying action with tense survival horror that results in a wonderful experience. That being said, there are some pacing issues that drag the game down, and the story, while enjoyable, is cliché and will undoubtedly be controversial. Ultimately, this is a game that’s definitely worth your time and money.
