Bonfire Peaks - Rowboat

I beat Deathloop just before I started playing Bonfire Peaks, so it came as quite the surprise to see a Trophy called Infinite Loop, which asks you to “Get stuck in a never-ending loop.” I’m sure this isn’t intentionally a reference to Deathloop, but it’s hard to not make that connection when I played these two games back to back.

Anyway, this Trophy description is a bit vague, so I’ll walk you through the whole process of getting this.

First, you’ll need to find a puzzle called Rowboat, which is a Trophy Hunter’s goldmine. It’s tucked away in a secret area that requires you to cross a difficult-to-notice bridge. Here’s an image that shows the exact location of that bridge:

Note the mysterious laptop; the bridge is just to the north of that.

Follow the bridge to the well-hidden area, then find the puzzle called Rowboat. In case you’re wondering, it’s this one right here:

Now, I think the idea here is to get crates jammed at the end of the stream, then to pull out the one closest to the torch and move it to the end of the line. However, you don’t necessarily need to do all of that. Apparently, you can still pop the Trophy if you flub it a little bit. It seems the Trophy should ding as soon as you’ve blocked the stream and then unblocked it, regardless of whether or not you’ve actually created any sort of loop.

You can see what I mean in the video below.

If that doesn’t work, use the three double-wide crates and toss them into the stream so they’re all parallel, as shown in the image below.

Then just pull out the crate closest to the torch and place it at the end of the line. Repeat as many times as necessary to get the Trophy to pop (though you should get it as soon as you pull out the first crate).

And that’s how you get the Infinite Loop Trophy in Bonfire Peaks.

Note that you can also get the Surf’s Up Trophy in this same map, and it’s actually a lot more straightforward than Infinite Loop. And if you really want to be cheeky, you can also get the Nice Try Trophy as well.
