Bonfire Peaks

In Bonfire Peaks, there is a Trophy called Surf’s Up, which asks you to “Ride a current.” What on earth does that mean? Well, I’ll walk you through it. It’s actually pretty easy.

You’ll want to go to a stage called Rowboat, which is tucked away in a somewhat hidden area. To find it, keep an eye out for this suspicious laptop:

Bonfire Peaks

Seriously, who leaves a laptop unattended way out in the middle of the forest?

Anyway… It’s really hard to see, but there’s actually a bridge just north of this location. The red arrow in the above image is pointing in the direction of the bridge. Follow that to the north and you’ll end up in a new area with a whole bunch of puzzles. And one of those puzzles is called Rowboat.

Here’s the exact location of that puzzle:

Bonfire Peaks - Rowboat

Select the Rowboat campfire to get started.

Now, what you need to do here is get a box into the current, then get on top of the box. To do this, you’ll want to build yourself a step up to the stream, then drop a double-wide crate onto the stream so one end is blocked by your character’s legs. Now just step onto that crate, and once your legs are out of the way, you should end up sloshing backward until the crate hits the torch and stops. This should pop the Surf’s Up Trophy.

That description might be hard to decipher, so here’s a video of the process:

And that’s how you get the Surf’s Up Trophy in Bonfire Peaks.

Note that you can also get the Infinite Loop Trophy on this same map, though that one is a bit trickier. And if you really want to go all out, you can get the Nice Try Trophy here as well.
