Perhaps the team at Hello Games is hyped for the new Dune movie, because sandworms got a bit of a refresh. Not only are there more varied sandworms, but you can also ride them now. And one of the rewards for the Emergence expedition is a rideable sandworm of your own. You’ll also earn a creepy head to wear, a new ghostly trail for your jetpack, and some new fireworks.
The update also comes with some quality-of-life upgrades, such as better particle effects, especially for crashed meteors and, of course, sandworms.
