Thirst and Hunger meters are the cornerstones of most survival games, and Breakwaters doesn’t buck that trend. Although the game does a decent job of directing players toward a quick, easy-to-find source of both food and drink, there are a number of other ways to fill those meters, some less obvious and more rewarding than others. In my time spent with Breakwaters, I have compiled a list of food and drink items and their individual stat boosts.
Some of these items will require more than just foraging, however. They will also require the Builder’s Bench, which you’ll need in order to craft the various crafting stations needed to make different types of edibles.
But, we can cross that bridge when we get there. Now pull up a chair and let’s dig in.
