“Build the camping of your dreams,” says the new trailer for campsite-renovation sim Camping Builder. Despite the grammatical hiccup, the content on display here actually looks quite satisfying.
In Camping Builder, you will build and maintain a beachside campsite in a tropical paradise. You’ll need to restore a dilapidated camp, build a fancy bungalow, and keep the place clean while dealing with the elements.
The game’s first-person perspective brings to mind survival games like ARK: Survival Evolved, but it doesn’t appear to have hardcore survival mechanics. In fact, this might be more comparable to something like Internet Cafe Simulator 2, though Camping Builder looks way more polished. Then again, trailers can often be deceiving.
I guess we won’t know exactly how this thing plays until we get our hands on it. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait much longer, as Campsite Builder is getting a free demo on February 21 as part of Steam Next Fest. In the meantime, you can wishlist the game on Steam.
