If you’re an Elden Ring spellcaster who’s looking for a sweet new set of duds, you might want to pick up the Battlemage set; it’s the perfect complement to a magic-based build. This set includes:
- Haima Glintstone Crown
- Battlemage Robe
- Battlemage Manchettes
- Battlemage Legwraps
Thankfully, you won’t need to spend a ton of time farming this, like the Fire Monk set or the Guardian set. No, you can loot all of this off a single enemy. That enemy is located right here, in the northern part of the Atlus Plateau:
Getting here can be a bit of a chore. The recommended route is using the Great Lift of Ductus. But first, you’ll need some medallion pieces. Thankfully, the whole process is laid out in a video by Gamers Heroes.
Once you use the Great Lift, you just want to follow the road to the north all the way to a spot called the Forest-Spanning Greatbridge. Here’s where that is on the map:
When you get to the Site of Grace here, go through the portal (which is right next to the Site of Grace; you really can’t miss it). That will zap you really close to where you’ll find the set (and also, where you can run a great rune-farming path where you can get the Leyndell Soldier armor set).
From this location, simply go north a little way and you’ll see a creepy dude on top of a rock overlooking the road (he’ll be looking at the road from the west).
That guy is your target. Once you kill him, he will drop the full set all at once.
He really packs a punch, but I found that if you stealth attack him from behind, he’ll fall off the cliff. You can then position yourself so that your spells hit him but his are blocked by the edge of the cliff. Simply wail on him until he’s dead.

You can kill this guy multiple times, but as far as I can tell, he’ll only drop the gear on the first kill.
