Half-Glass Gaming’s own Julian Watkins very recently wrote about how he wanted to step into other people’s shoes (aside from V) in Cyberpunk 2077. While that might not be on the table anytime soon (outside of mods, I suppose), the upcoming NeonLore might be the next best thing.
NeonLore is a cyberpunk game that focuses on first-person exploration. According to a recent press release:
In NeonLore you will solve puzzles and encounter various characters and learn about their past life, dreams, and fears and get a chance to discover deeper about the social transformations that have impacted human life in the 21st century.
The press release goes on to say that you’ll also have access to four audiobooks that were written to coincide with the game, so even if you get tired of exploring, you’ll have some novels to listen to. That might be worth the price of admission on its own.
Either way, the game is coming to PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch on April 20. If you’re one who partakes in certain activities on that date, NeonLore‘s seedy-yet-colorful world does seem like a good complement for those activities…
