Art of Rally

Racing games typically attempt to deliver high-octane, adrenaline-fueled thrill rides. But what if the genre instead tried to create a more indie-style, meditative racing experience? Is such a thing even possible?

Art of Rally, which released on Steam back in 2020, experimented with that premise to great success. This is a racing game with a papercraft visual style and a super-chill mood, and players adored it.

If you’re a console owner who’s waiting for a physical edition to get your wheels spinning, you’ll soon have a chance to check it out for yourself. Art of Rally is getting physical editions for PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch on September 16, 2022. There’s both a standard edition and a collector’s edition.

Art of Rally

The standard edition retails for $34.99 and includes:

  • Physical copy of the game
  • Papercraft car
  • Sticker sheet featuring in-game brands

This comes with a download code for the physical soundtrack as well.
