Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII, Square Enix hosted a celebration livestream where they gave fans a whole lot of details about the future of this 25-year-old game. And I’m all for it — Final Fantasy VII Remake was on Half-Glass Gaming’s 2020 Game of the Year nominations list.

Because there’s so much stuff coming out, I decided to break it all down. So here’s a complete list of every Final Fantasy VII-related project mentioned during the 25th Anniversary livestream, no matter how big or small, arranged by release date.

Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier – Season 3

Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier

If you’ve been playing the mobile game Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, then you should already be aware of this one, because it’s been going on for a couple weeks now. But there was a trailer for Season 3: Highway Star at the livestream event.

Season 3 began on June 2, 2022.

Finally, the expanded version of the Final Fantasy VII Remake will be available to PC players.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade comes to Steam on June 17, 2022.

Final Fantasy VII Compilation Vinyl

If you want to jam out to the amazing score of Final Fantasy VII on freaking vinyl, well, there’s a 25th Anniversary compilation on the way. There’s also an “arrangement CD” and new 25th Anniversary playlists coming to streaming services.

The vinyl is due out August 11, 2022, but it’s not clear when the other versions will be here.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis – Closed Beta

The free-to-play mobile game Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis will have a closed beta test at some point in 2022.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion

Holy spikey hair! Final Fantasy VII‘s PSP prequel game Crisis Core is getting a remake on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It doesn’t look as ludicrously high-quality as the Final Fantasy VII Remake proper, but it looks super-stylish and amazing nonetheless.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is due out this winter, which I assume means early 2023, but it could mean a holiday of 2022 release as well.

Buster Sword Digital Clock

Buster Sword Digital Clock

If you really want a stylish way to wake up in the morning, you might be interested in this Final Fantasy VII-themed digital clock. Of course, it does come with a $199 price tag, but if you’re cool with that you can pre-order it from Square Enix’s website right now.

The Buster Sword digital clock is scheduled to release in January of 2023.

If you want to accessorize with Final Fantasy VII rings, there were two different ones shown off during the livestream.

These rings will cost $227.99 each, and both are due out in April of 2023.

Final Fantasy VII Silver Bangle – Shinra Materia

If you want to spend $247.99 on a Final Fantasy VII-themed bracelet, go for it! This is available to pre-order on Square Enix’s website.

This Silver Bangle is due out in April of 2023.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

The biggest announcement of the entire presentation was that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the second chapter in the remake project, will be the middle entry of a trilogy, and it will be coming out next winter. As far as I can tell, that means late-2023, but that isn’t exactly clear.

Static Arts Cloud Strife Figure

Static Arts Cloud Strife Figure

This Cloud figure is over a foot tall, is incredibly detailed, and comes with a base so you can keep him upright. It does cost $189.99, though, which is a pretty high asking price. You can pre-order this figure on Square Enix’s website.

The Static Arts Cloud Strife figure should be coming out in November of 2023.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Play Arts Figures

Final Fantasy VII - Play Arts

If the Static Art Cloud Strife figure isn’t enough for you, there are also the Play Arts Kai figures to consider. The figures cost $189.99, while the motorcycle sets cost $469.99. Yikes!
