In Stray, there is a Trophy called Boom Chat Kalaka, which asks you to “Dunk the basketball.” This doesn’t seem as rare or as difficult as the Can’t Cat-ch Me Trophy, but it is easy to miss if you don’t know where to look. So I’m going to show you how to easily earn this Trophy in Stray.
First off, the basketball you’re looking for is in the Slums, not far from the Guardian. In fact, you can’t miss the basketball if you make your way over to the Marketplace. If you want to see the exact location, here’s a video:
Once you find the basketball, you need to line it up just right so that it rolls into the trashcan below. This can take a few tries, because if you don’t line it up perfectly, the ball will bounce off to the left or the right. If you mess up, you can press the Options button, then use the “Reload Last Checkpoint” feature.
If you can get the basketball to roll into the trashcan, you will pop the Boom Chat Kalaka Trophy.
Also, if you’re wondering what that Trophy name is all about, it’s a reference to the line “Boom shaka laka!” from NBA Jam.
Apparently, that itself was a reference to the song “I Want to Take You Higher” by Sly and the Family Stone.
