It’s that time of the month again, when IO Interactive gives us the skinny on what’s going down in Hitman 3 over the next few weeks. That’s right, the Hitman 3 August (Year 2) roadmap is here!
Personally, I tend to get the most excited about unlockable suits and weapons, and this month we’ve got a couple things to add to our already-bursting-at-the-seems inventories. First up is the Ruby Rude Track Suit (shown at the top of this article). It’s kind of an eyesore, in my opinion, but it does match the “Rude Ruby” pistol and the SMG Raptor Rude Ruby Covert. So if you’re a fan of decking yourself out in pink, this suit completes the look. You earn this by completing one of the new Elusive Target Arcade contracts, the the Dyads or the Diabolicals.
The next unlock is quite a bit prettier. The Floral Baller is unlocked via a new challenge that will be added to the Dartmoor Garden Show on August 11. Since this permanent event was added on August 5, 2021, I guess the weapon unlock is here is a celebration of the event’s one-year anniversary. I do think this gun is quite something to look at.
Aside from the unlocks, we have two new Elusive Target Arcade contracts (which I’ve already mentioned), but I do want to point out that this batch marks an important change for the game mode. Previously, all of these contracts were limited to a single game (Hitman, Hitman 2, or Hitman 3). Now, the contracts are designed to mix and match contracts from different games. As long as you own Hitman 3, you have access to these contracts, regardless of whether or not you own Hitman 1 and/or 2.
Aside from that, we’ve got The Ex-Dictator coming to Bangkok for a limited time. If my memory serves, this is the first time this contract has been available in Hitman 3 (but feel free to correct me in the comments if I’m wrong).
And then we’ve got the Flower Power Featured Contracts coming toward the end of the month. I do appreciate IO adding more of these all the time, but I wish they would also add more rewards for completing them. I love me some unlocks!
