Asterigos - Palls, Guardian of Acropolis

In Asterigos: Curse of the Stars, there is a secret boss called Pallas, Guardian of Acropolis. Defeating Pallas will earn you the Taming Thunders Trophy/Achievement. So where do you find this mystical, thunder-shooting beast?

Well, this boss won’t appear until the very, very end of the game. You must have completed the Event of Trinity, then talked to Minerva to begin your final ascent up Caelum Summit. On your way up to the final boss fight, there will be a secret path off to the side of the path that leads to Pallas. Here’s a video that shows the route:

This path starts from the Trail of Astrology Conduit.

I honestly don’t have a lot of advice for this fight. I chugged a lot of potions and kept on Pallas as much as possible. There’s a phase where the boss will summon three adds, and this can be super annoying. I try to take out the adds as quickly as possible, because it’s really hard to separate your focus between four enemies at once (the boss + three adds).

Also, Pallas has an attack where an energy beam shoots from its mouth, and you can actually dodge through this attack. It’s tricky to pull off, but dodging through it will negate the damage entirely. You can see me do this at about the 4:40 mark in the video above.

There’s a bonus here. When you Defeat Pallas, you will stop the random lightning that keeps striking the mountain.

And there you go. That’s how you defeat Pallas, Guardian of Acropolis, to earn the Taming Thunders Trophy/Achievement.

If you want to see guides for all ten of the Trinity Challenge fights, I’ve got an index here.
