In The Entropy Centre, the Act 8 puzzles are a bit easier than the Act 7 puzzles, at least in my opinion. And if you’re still stuck in Act 7, you can check out my detailed guides (as well as my guide to Puzzles 0801 and 0802). But if you got yourself stuck in Act 8, I’m here to help you out.
So let’s look at the solution for Puzzle 0803.
If you haven’t read the email in the office before you hit 0803, you’ll want to do that first. If you’re not sure where to find it, check out my previous guide (the email location is at the end of the third video in that guide).
Now, the thing that makes Puzzle 0803 a little bit tricky is the Time-Gate that separates the laser cube from the rest of the puzzle chamber. Thankfully, you actually won’t need to move it after you cross the gate. Before you walk through the Time-Gate, point the laser cube at the switch on the wall, then leave it. Go through the gate, then move the standard cube on top of the button pad, then move it to block the laser beam.
Stand on the elevator, then rewind the standard cube back onto the button pad to unlock the door.

Once you see how it works, it’s actually pretty easy, right?
Okay, so once that’s done, you’ll end up in Puzzle 0804. There’s a whole beach section to the right of the puzzle, but you actually won’t need to go there to solve the puzzle. Feel free to explore it, if you really want to.
When you’re ready to solve the puzzle, pick up the jump cube and place it in between the two big pillars. Then move it next to the elevator.
Now, move the laser cube so that it’s pointed at the receiver that opens the door. Then grab it and jump onto the elevator. The next part is what trips a lot of folks up. You’ll need to aim the laser at the receiver that moves the elevator, then rewind it so that it’s frozen in place. Ride the elevator up, rewind both cubes, and boom, you’re golden.
