Vigor is a free-to-play battle royale game by Bohemia Interactive, who you might know for their hit zombie survival game DayZ. Set in postwar Norway, Vigor originally launched in early access back in 2018 and has since been slowly creeping onto every current gaming console. It came to Nintendo Switch earlier this year (with the $20 Founder’s Pass launching in July and a free-to-play version landing in September), and now it’s finally available on Sony machines.
Yes, Vigor is available on both PS4 and PS5. Fans have been asking for cross-platform gameplay, and while Vigor is not truly console-agnostic, PS5 owners can play with their PS4-owning friends. This seems like a step in the right direction (or perhaps simply a compromise).
Both the PS4 and PS5 versions include the full game experience, though the PS5 version is said to feature shorter load times and 4K visuals.
