We have somewhat eclectic tastes here at Half-Glass Gaming. While we do enjoy massively successful mainstream titles such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Hitman 3, we also enjoy some things that are a bit on the weirder side.
Take Creaks, for example.
Creaks is a 2D puzzle-platformer about a dude who hears weird noises and finds a secret tunnel that leads to a world of bird people. Yeah, this is a weird game. But we have a fondness for weird games, and the art here looks absolutely fantastic. It also comes from Amanita Design, the folks behind the also-weird-yet-brilliant Machinarium.
If you’ve been holding off on checking out this surrealist adventure game until it gets a physical release, well, your wait is almost over. Creaks is getting a physical release on Nintendo Switch thanks to the folks at Super Rare Games.
There are two versions of the game up for purchase right now, the standard version, which includes the game in a case with a full-color manual and three trading cards, and a steelbook version that includes all of that plus a steelbook case.
The standard edition is only getting 3,000 copies (and they’re almost sold out already) while the steelbook edition is only getting 1,500 copies. Act fast if you want to pick one up (purchase links are included in this paragraph).
