Hitman 3: The Lust Assignation Walkthrough

Hitman 3‘s Season of Lust added a new Escalation called The Lust Assignation. This is unlike previous Escalation series in that there’s only one level. The reason? Because it’s pretty deep and involved. Not only do you have to suss out the identity of the target by finding a series of clues, but you also need to present the target with a bouquet, which you won’t be able to acquire until you’ve found at least three of the clues.

And to make matters worse, the location of the clues is randomized.

So, while I can’t walk you through every single step (due to the randomized element), I can give you the tools you need in order to get through this.

First, you’re going to need three keys to open the safes. Thankfully, the locations of the keys are not randomized, and I’ve created a very quick walkthrough video for collecting three keys without getting spotted, which should take you about two minutes.

Note that at about 1:07 in the video, I also pick up a Staff Area Key, which will get you through the door in the next area, but there are three additional keys that are for the safes.

Once you have the three safe keys, you’ll need to unlock three safes. This is the part I can’t actually help you with, as their locations are somewhat randomized. But with three keys, you can unlock three safes without having to resort to explosives, so that’s good. And the safes are all marked on your map, so you shouldn’t have trouble finding them on your own (though getting to them without being detected is another matter entirely).

Once you have three clues (you’ll get one from each safe), you can return to the starting area and pick up the bouquet. Remember where you got your first key? The bouquet is on a table right next to your client, right across from where the first key was.

Now, you just have to give the bouquet to the target. You sort of have to get into their bubble first, then they’ll extend a hand and a button prompt will come up. Once you’ve handed the correct target the bouquet, just sit back down in the chair where you began in order to exit the mission.

Like the safe locations, the target is randomized, so I’m posting some solutions to help you out.

If the first three clues are: “It’s cloudless air… Through which I dance… With my champagne,” then this is your target:

This guy’s hair is kind of scruffy and he has a beard.

If your first three clues are: “It’s cloudless air… Wherein I stand… Whiskey tongued,” this this is your target:

This guy’s hair is slicked back, and he’s wearing a tailcoat.

If your first three clues say, “It’s cloudless air… Through which I dance… Imbibing white,” then this is your target:

This woman is wearing a top hat.

If the clues are, “A veil of smoke… Through which I dance… Imbibing white,” then your target is this guy:

This guy has lighter hair and a man bun.

If the clues are, “A veil of smoke… Through which I dance… Finest red in hand,” then this is your target:

This woman is wearing slacks and a light gray/silver-ish blazer.

Now, these aren’t the only solutions. I know of at least two more, though I don’t know the clues that lead to them. Basically, all you need to know is that there are a few options here:

Clue #1:

A veil of smoke… means the target is smoking.

It’s cloudless air… means the target is not smoking.

Clue #2:

Through which I dance… means the target will dance (there are four characters who dance).

Wherein I stand… means the target will not dance.

Clue #3:

This will always be the drink the target is sipping. If the previous two clues aren’t enough, then just look closely at what each potential target is drinking.
