The Colonists is finally out on consoles, and that means it’s now got a list of shiny Trophies/Achievements for players to earn. The easiest one is definitely Hello!, which asks you to “Receive a wave from a carrybot.” If you’re confused about what that means, you’ve come to the right place. Here’s a quick guide to the Hello! Trophy/Achievement in The Colonists.
Now, this is neither here nor there, but I just want to point out that according to PSN, I am literally the first person in the world to have earned this Trophy on PS4. No biggie.
Anyway, all you have to do to earn this Trophy/Achievement is get a carrybot to wave at you. What does that mean? Well, carrybots are the robots that are stationed on roads (the ones who move your goods). So all you have to do to trigger this is start a game, then create a road. Move the cursor over to the idle carrybot and press X (if you’re on PS4) to bring up that carrybot’s stats. When you do this, the carrybot should automatically wave at you. When it does, the Trophy should pop.
Yes, that’s literally all there is to it. You could earn this within the first couple minutes of firing up the game.
