Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a game I’ve been watching from afar for quite some time now, through it’s extended Early Access period. I almost took the plunge not long ago, but I got distracted by Kingdom Come: Deliverance instead.
But recently it was announced that Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord was indeed coming to consoles, which perked up my ears for the official release date announcement. It turns out, there was a leak over the summer that suggested that release date would be October 25. Today, we learned that the leak was accurate, as the game is officially landing on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on October 25, 2022.
To celebrate this announcement, there’s a brand-new, high-action trailer.
Apparently, the game was always developed with consoles in mind, so it’s great to see that ambition become a reality. I personally cannot wait to play this on my PS5, where I’ll be smashing medieval heads with the best of ’em.
