Cyberpunk 2077

Episode 4 is the episode of CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire web series I’ve been waiting for, and boy was that a mouthful.

Driving in Cyberpunk 2077 has been something of an unknown for me, because as far as I can tell, up to this point there hasn’t been a ton of vehicular action shown outside the context of story missions. This was making me a bit nervous, especially since, if memory serves, CD Projekt hasn’t worked on a game with cars in it since Saints Row 2, and they only handled the PC port of that one.

But with the latest episode of Night City Wire, not only are my fears allayed, but I am now offish hyped(tm) to hit the streets come November 19. I mean, the sheer number of vehicle types alone is quite impressive, not to mention how detailed and downright gorgeous some of them look.

Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 offers everything from 1970s boat-style sedans to tank-style militaristic APCs, from slick sports cars to incredibly sleek and sexy performance machines. There is apparently also a Porsche (maybe a 911) that Keanu Reeve’s disembodied arms are shown at the wheel of.

Cyberpunk 2077 will also feature motorcycles based on the designs of Keanu Reeves’ real-life company ARCH Motorcycles (there’s no word yet on whether or not the rumored Adidas Cyberpunk 2077 sneakers will show up the game, though).

As much as I love driving in open world games, and am looking forward to doing so in Cyberpunk 2077, I will more than likely spend a lot of time on foot, as that is my preferred method of seeing the sights.

You can watch the entire episode of Night City Wire below, while contemplating whether or not to pre-order the physical edition of Cyberpunk 2077 for all of the bonus goodies that it comes with.
