If you’ve been itching to get some Pokémon-style action on PS4 (or PC or Xbox One — or even Nintendo Switch), then you should definitely have your eyeballs on Nexomon: Extinction. This is a charming little game that’s earned a lot of love. And rightfully so — it’s fantastic.
The game was updated to version 1.10 on PS4 today. This update is mostly focused on localization additions and fixes, but there are a couple intriguing bits of info in the patch notes.
There are nine new companions to be found in chests, for example. But the most mysterious note is that there’s a small isle that’s now accessible if you jump (apparently, one of the nine new companions is there).
Here are the full patch notes:
- Added Russian localization.
- Added Portuguese (Portugal version) localization.
- Fixed a glitch when gaming multiple levels where the “required EXP” was not being updated per level up.
- Added 9 new companions in chests.
- A small isle south of Lateria is now accessible by jumping.
- Improved Spanish (Spain) localization.
