Green Hell’s Spirits of Amazonia content landed on PC back in January, giving players the first taste of its story (which is a prequel to the game’s main campaign). Since then, fans have been left wondering where things are headed.
Today, we learned that this wait is almost over, for developer/publisher Creepy Jar announced that the next part of this prequel story will be arriving later this month. Yes, Spirits of Amazonia Part 2 arrives in the PC version of Green Hell on June 22, 2021. And it’s free for anyone who owns the game on PC.
Here’s a list of features to expect, straight from the press release:
- Prepare to enjoy all-new Tribal Legends
- Revamped map areas portraying how they looked before the events of the base Green Hell Story Mode
- A new hunting tribe, the Un’garaca, and new activities including healing and drums
- A dangerous new enemy
- Enemies beware! Jake can now equip a wicked 2-handed axe!
- New animals, the black panther and small tapir
If you’re a console player, you’ll have to wait a bit longer, but Creepy Jar did confirm that they’ll be bringing this content to consoles as part of a free update at some point in the future.
