Elden Ring Guide: How to Farm the Godrick Knight Armor

There’s a ton of armor to collect in Elden Ring. Some of it has incredible stats, and some of it just looks cool. However, one set I don’t see a lot of people talking about is the Godrick Knight set. This is almost certainly the best armor you’ll find before you start working your way through dungeons, and you can pick it up at practically the beginning of the game.

So here’s a quick guide to picking up the Godrick Knight set. There are six pieces that you can get in the specific location I’m going to show you:

• Godrick Knight Helm
• Godrick Knight Armor
• Godrick Knight Gauntlets
• Godrick Knight Greaves
• Partisan
• Gilded Greatshield

It’s important to note that this is different from the Godrick Soldier set. The Godrick Knight set is a bit heavier, but it has better stats.

So where can you find it? Well, there’s one enemy who you can get all this stuff from, and he walks the path that runs east and west in the middle of Gatefront Ruins. You’ll know him because he has a tassel on the top of his head, and he carries a particular shield (the Gilded Greatshield).

All of the other soldiers in this area should drop the Godrick Soldier set instead of the Godrick Knight set, so you want to make sure you’re fighting the right dude. Just watch out, because he’s the toughest enemy in this cluster.

If you want to farm this location, the easiest way to do it is to spawn in at the Agheel Lake North Site of Grace. From there, make your way west, staying on the north side of the path so you don’t get caught by any of the other soldiers in the camp. If you can hit the Godrick Knight with a ranged attack, you can easily single him out so you don’t have to fight the entire camp.

I didn’t spend a lot of time farming this to see what the drop rates are, but I will say that they’re actually really good. So good, in fact, that you’ll often get two pieces from a single kill. I think most people will be able to nab this full set in about a dozen kills or less (unless you end up getting really, really unlucky, which is always possible).
